• Experience with sheet metal design, extrusion, and casting

• Custom job/shop experience an asset
Project and Personal Management Skills:
• Multidisciplinary projects coordination
• Preparing/evaluating technical proposals

Computer Knowledge:

Full Job Description and Requirements
New Product Design Engineer
• Design and development of new products and product
extensions from
conceptual design through prototyping and tooling specification
• Provide technical support to internal and external
customers
• Design of sheet metal, extrusion, casting
• Lighting/optics experience an asset
• CAD software and 3D modeling (SolidWorks,
SolidEdge, AutoCAD)
Assembler –
Final Assembly
Assemble, wire and test lighting fixtures and associated products.
• Good manual dexterity, attention to detail and
strong quality focus
• Ability to read assembly drawings and wiring
diagrams
• Dedicated team player with desire to continuously
improve
Press Operator
• Setup training, CNC and manual
machines
• Use a vernier and protractor to
read tolerances.
• Bar Coding info. Relating to the
operation being performed into the computer system according to
procedures.
• CNC brake press and punches
• Have the understanding of the
metric system and use of measuring devices.
• Lifting up to 30 pounds.
• 2-3 years experience and WHMIS
